New Scientific Proof - Injected in Soil, AV-100 Chemical Grout Will Not Shrink

Injection Grouting has evolved responsibly over the years, yet some beliefs are slow to change.  For those who believe that grout expands and contracts with wet/dry climate cycles, Avanti commissioned an independent lab to perform field testing and analysis that proves otherwise.

Avanti Supply Chain Partner Builds Quick Momentum with Urethane Injection Grouts

It all started November 23, 2016 - a breakfast meeting was planned at a local diner. Russ Peterson (ASDCO Branch Manager), Dan Wells (ASDCO Business Development and Jacob Swanson (Avanti Regional Manager) met for the first time.

Eliminating Infiltration in the Collection Systems Begins with Knowing How

CIPP Lining is brilliant technology designed to solve structural issues and optimized for mainline sewer pipe. Injection grouting is designed specifically to stop infiltration at all four points of entry—mainline, manholes, service laterals and connections. Starting today, engineers, municipalities, and specialty contractors can learn the Fundamentals of Municipal Grouting online, on their time and at no cost.

Win/Win—Stop the Leaks, Start a Career

Avanti's field service was contacted to stop water leaking into a storm water system in Colorado and provide how-to training. The storm water system was less than three years old, but had multiple barrel joint leaks as well as leakage at the pipe penetrations into a vault. Every project is different – there is no ‘one grout fits all’ solution. So after careful consideration, AV-248-LV Flexseal LV, a low viscosity, flexible hydrophobic polyurethane grout was injected to seal the barrel joints.

Out of Sight, Out of Mind No More

I recently conducted a field training with the City of Daytona Beach. We were scheduled to stop active infiltration in a few storm boxes and a lift station. Early in the morning, we were near the lift station we were going to train at and I noticed a sanitary manhole in the middle of the street that had noticeable depressions in the asphalt on one side. I made the comment - only as an observation - that groundwater infiltration and loss of fines was likely the cause for the depression in the street.
